The PC1 traces a full loop around the capital, alternating between the old UNESCO-listed town, peri-urban forests, and spectacular viewpoints over the valleys. Recommended starting point from the Grund. Hilly, so a notch above the «easy for everyone» level—but accessible with a hybrid bike or a multi-speed city bike. Ideal for a half-day discovery.

2. PC3 — The Moselle and its Vineyards (Schengen → Wasserbillig, ~50 km): For Relaxation and Wine
The most iconic section of the PC3 runs along the Moselle between Schengen (European Museum) and Wasserbillig, passing through Remich, Wormeldange, and Ehnen. It's flat, shaded, and lined with wine estates open for tasting. City bikes, hybrid bikes, or electric bikes work perfectly. A return train is possible from Wasserbillig.

The PC2 «Charly line» uses an old tramway line and offers one of the most pleasant routes in the country: starting from the Pont Rouge in Luxembourg City, crossing forests, and arriving at Echternach and its basilica. The Mullerthal («Little Luxembourgish Switzerland») is a 10-minute walk from the end of the route. Gentle slope, accessible for families.
4. The Valley of the Seven Castles (PC12 + PC15, 38-85 km): for history lovers
A thematic loop connecting seven castles: Hollenfels, Ansembourg (two castles), Septfontaines, Koerich, Schoenfels. Magnificent on the short route (38 km), demanding on the long version (85 km). E-bikes recommended for the untrained. Combine with a stop at the Hollenfels inn.
